Welcome to meet the media experts in Karlstad
In June 14-18 2010, Karlstad in Sweden hosts the World Summit on Media for Children and Youth. The World Summit on Media for Children and Youth in
Karlstad represents a unique opportunity for everyone interested in children and young people’s well-being. The programme introduces more than 100 sessions
and international and national top experts; as well as training, media industry and research organisations,
will be holding speeches, panels, round table discussions, lectures, seminars and workshops. Out of those 100 sessions, 40 make high quality professional
relevance to children and youth specialists such as teachers and leasure time staff, researchers and youth NGO:s.

In the quest for smarter adults and children with good insight into the media and excellent media knowledge and skills, Karlstad will be the most important
meeting place in 2010. Preliminarily register your participation in the conference at wskarlstad2010.se and you will be guaranteed place at the conference.
The congress fee is EUR 345 and it includes lunch for four days and coffee throughout the conference. Excursions and dinners must be booked/paid for separately
There will be dance, music, theatre, film and food from all over the world, and the full program will be presented September 15 at wskarlstad2010.se
