IS THIS THE END?

For the first time in the Nordic Countries the World Summit on Media
for Children and Youth, took place in Karlstad, Sweden. People from
all over the world gathered around one very important subject and it
has been a long week with hundreds of seminars, discussions and of
course a lot of new meetings and friends.
Many new ideas has started
to grow and everyone has been working hard to make a positive change
for the future. But now the Summit 2010 is over. Everyone will go back
to their own countries and homes and it feels like Karlstad will be
less sunny without all the warm people.
So, is this the end?
No, it's now the real work begins. The Global Youth Council has been
working hard to propose six recommendations for a positive change in
the future. Now we all have to take our responsibility and make the
change happen. A lot of new connections has been made during the week
and even if the physical distance will grow, the use of new media will
keep the connections strong and healthy.
So, no, this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end.
But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning/Winston Churchill
