Who's coming to Karlstad?
The programme is now starting to form and will be released on September 15. World Summit Karlstad can announce that Hans Rosling, professor of
international health at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm Sweden will speak at the Summit. With his own software developed within the non-profit
organisation Gapminder, he often manages to shift perspectives, increasing our understanding of social and economic development. Stina Honkamaa,
Country Manager Google Sweden is also speaking at the Summit about "Consumer Driven Change".
More Presenters
Other presenters are Robin Hamman, a social media expert at Headshift, the Media Education expert professor David Buckingham from University of London
and Julie Gale, Australia and Jean Kilbourne, USA who speak about the sexualisation of children in media. Jordi Torrent, Project manager at United Nations
in New York will present new tools for education. Professor Divina Frau-Meigs from
University of Sorbonne in Paris will also attend the summit and speak.
