ACTIVITIES DURING THE SUMMIT
Karlstad can offer you lots of different evening activities during your stay and the city's famous in Sweden for its night-life, especially in the summer months (May–September). The entire city ‘goes outside’ at this time of year with
al fresco dining, bars and live music along the banks of the Klara river. There is a fabulous choice of Swedish traditional, international and cross-over
cuisine to choose from in the setting of almost constant daylight. Brightly lit bus-boats transport diners and party-people to the many nightspots,
including ‘Nöjesfabriken’. This entertainment centre comes with two live stages, a pulsating nightclub, bar, restaurant and disco bowling. Big international

World Culture Festivities June 14
At 2 pm-10 pm the multi cultural World Culture Festivities will take place with food, dance and different activities.

Ballet dance performance June 15
The Royal Opera Dance Ballet will give the dance performance 59° north. They are part of the international dance festival ABUNDANCE.

THE INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL ABUNDANCE
June 15-17 2010 the International Dance Festival ABUNDANCE will be held in Karlstad, Sweden by Dans i Värmland. It will be the third festival and it
coincides with World Summit Karlstad. The theme for ABUNDANCE is media and dance, as to follow the World Summit theme.
The festival will offer a common ground for exchange and meetings of experiences between professional artists, amateurs and the public. These people will be presented with
the opportunity to practice, experience, feel and discuss dance.
The second ABUNDANCE, 6-8 september 2007, was visited by no less than 5000 people whom took part of workshops, seminars, dance shows and movie screenings,
which were presented by 120 artists from 13 different countries.
